Hello, I am Pete, the Creator and Author of Japanified Pete.
Born and raised in England, I moved to New Zealand at 18 years old and forged a successful career in Quality Management whilst enjoying exploring the country on motorcycles and playing Soccer amongst other things.
Whilst living in New Zealand I met my lovely Wife whom is Japanese, and we started a Family, welcoming our Daughter in 2024.
Upon the birth of our Daughter we made the decision to move to Japan in 2026, the earliest our various commitments would allow us.
I started this site to document and share our experiences for this lifechanging move, and hopefully provide useful insights, advice and possibly some entertainment along the way.
